In the spring of 2017, we launched as a satellite campus of Central Christian Church of Beloit, Wisconsin. 85 of us felt the call to start a gospel-centered congregation in the Machesney Park community. For four fruitful years, we ministered to the community as an extension of Central Christian (one church in multiple locations). At the beginning of 2021, we sensed God’s call for our congregation to step into a new chapter. With the blessing of Central’s leadership, we incorporated as an independent church. In June of 2021, we became Park City Church.
We are a gospel-centered non-denominational Christian church serving the Stateline area of Illinois and Wisconsin (Machesney Park, Rockton/Roscoe, and surrounding communities).
We originally launched as a portable church, so we’ve met in various venues in and around the Machesney Park community. In the fall of 2021, we were presented the opportunity to step into a more permanent meeting space. To learn more about our current location click here.

Our mission is to make, mature, and multiply disciples of Jesus Christ.
We are a gospel-centered church.
We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the very center of the Christian message. We prioritize the gospel as THE matter of first importance.
We are a word-driven church.
We believe that the Bible sets the agenda for who we are and what we most need. The Bible, then, plays a key role in all that we do together.
We are a relational church.
We believe that Christianity is meant to be done in community. The relationships between believers is evidence of the beauty and reality of Christ.
We are a missional church.
The people of God are a missionary people. God sends us out into the world as his representatives. Therefore, we want to equip our people to effectively live life on mission.
We are an evangelistic church.
Jesus calls us to make disciples (followers of His). We believe the best strategy to accomplish that is for all of us to share the good news of the gospel in the ordinary rhythms and routines of life.
We are a disciple-making church.
We are committed to helping people become mature followers of Christ. We want the way of Jesus to inform every aspect of how we live.
We are a Spirit-filled church.
We believe the Holy Spirit empowers us for this radical missional living. We have no interest in doing church in our own strength. We desperately need and desire the Holy Spirit.
We are a worshiping church.
People are designed to worship God. We want to help as many people as possible become unceasing worshipers.
